On Feb. 27-28 members of the Babaylan Steering Committe met to start making concrete plans as mandated during the network meeting in Athens last November. The meeting was held in Utrecht, The Netherlands, attended by Judy Jover (Denmark), Pat Boneo (Greece), Rose Slotema (Netherlands), Adora Fischer (Switzerland) and Malu Padilla (Netherlands).
Major agenda discussed was the planning of the regular Babaylan Conference and Congress which will be held on September 24-26, 2010 in Chur, Switzerland. Soon after the Athens meeting and true to her promise, Adora as able to find a very suitable venue at the parliament house of Chur. The theme and the programme of the Conference and Congress will be finalised by the Steering Committee in the coming months.
After the meeting was a day-and-a-half workshop on Teambuilding and Creating Effective Work systems prepared and conducted by Adora. The weekend didn’t end without the women taking a quick visit to exciting Amsterdam.
